Distress Tolerance (7 Week Video-Series)

Distress tolerance skills help us navigate to get through difficult situations without making the situation worse for ourselves. Distress tolerance involves accepting reality rather than refusing to tolerate stress. Through learning distress tolerance skills, we will learn ways to manage our emotions and behaviour to make it through any challenging situation that comes our way. Kicking off on the 12th of April and finishing on the 23rd of June, every Wednesday at 5 pm, our DBT skills trainer Keelin will guide you through a Distress Tolerance Skill on our Instagram feed.

Coping with Anxiety: Building Blocks to Change & Transformation (June 9th-23rd)

Anxiety can significantly impact our lives and block us from living a purposeful life. This workshop series can help you learn ways to overcome worry, stress and worry and take back control of your life.

In the workshop series, we will cover the following topics
Week 1: The origins of anxiety, what anxious feelings, thoughts and behaviour look like.
Week 2: Mindfulness and unhooking from difficult thoughts
Week 3: Self-care practices and self-compassion

What will the workshop series look like?
There are three sessions that will last for an hour. The course will run at the following times Wednesday 9th of June, Wednesday 16th of June and Wednesday 23rd of June from[masked]pm. People that come to all the sessions will get the most from the course.

These workshops operate on a donation basis to ensure they remain available to everyone. We ask that you give what you can. Naturally, all donations help facilitate this work and are greatly appreciated. We also truly wish you will please receive the teaching anyway if you are not in a position to donate right now. Every persons’ presence at our workshop is incredibly valuable to us.
