Meet at 1315h, Sunday, 25th August 2019, in the café of the World Museum. We will have a bun, see the exhibition, then at our leisure go for something to eat and drink.

Explore our awe-inspiring universe through spectacular photography from around the world at the World Museum.

The stunning Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition, featuring images from The Royal Observatory Greenwich’s hugely popular ‘Astronomy Photographer of the Year’ competition, celebrates the very best in astrophotography as judged by a panel of experts in the worlds of art and astronomy.

From distant galaxies to magnificent skyscapes, mysterious aurorae to distant planets, comets and asteroids – see the universe come to life.

And with so many startling and beautiful images on display there’s something for everyone, whether you enjoy photography, stargazing or simply marvelling at the beauty of the natural world.
