  • Apr 1, 2014 · 6:30 PM

The 2nd online Meteor meetup will be all about testing in Meteor. Come to the local meetup to get prime access to the speakers and local discussion, but you can also watch this event online starting at 7PM MST! First, Arunoda Susiripala of MeteorHacks and Meteor Weekly (and author of several significant Meteor packages) will present the Laika testing framework and answer your questions. Next, we are convening a panel to talk about the state of testing in Meteor and how that will evolve this year. Panelists include:

• Arunoda Susiripala • Sam Hatoum, author of the RTD test runner

• Ry Walker and Josh Owens, authors of the upcoming book, Testing with Meteor • Mike Risse, co-author of the mocha-web testing framework

• Adrian Lanning, CTO of Share911, a production Meteor app Meteor Boulder, Meteor Denver, Meteor Cincinnati, Meteor Seattle, and Meteor East Bay are joining forces to connect local meetups to prominent members of the Meteor community. The local meetup starts at 6:30. The online portion starts 7PM at: https://plus.google.com/events/co6hr4dv9v9je000ar6iblsn1a4

So, I wound up going to the Boulder meetup, thinking we weren't having the Denver one. They were named the same and I just didn't notice until I saw the blog post on meteor.com. Whoops! See ya guys next time! :)

Yes, I was confused also when the Meteor topic said "Online" but in reality it was a physical Denver meetup at Code, & had a simulcast.

Next time I'll learn to read the entire post rather than scan :/
