Questions at Devshop

From: David W.
Sent on: Thursday, June 26, 2014 8:08 AM

Hi everyone,

As your newly appointed questions lead, I wanted to introduce myself and give you a few tips for getting help during Devshop.

My name is Dave, I'm the co-founder of Edthena, which is a video platform for teachers built with meteor. You may also know me as the hope-poster penguin on stackoverflow. At Devshop, my main job is to help answer questions so please find me, say hello, and ask me anything.

Tips for asking questions:

  • Introduce yourself to the people at your table. A great resource may be the person sitting next to you.
  • While at the event, sign in to and post your questions.
  • Don't be afraid to ask about the basics. Seriously.

For everyone to wants to help answer questions: Feel free to move around and help anyone who needs it - you don't need to check with me first.
