New Technologies, Business Models, and Policies Governor Polis Must Pursue for a Zero Emission Transportation Sector by 2050

We are on the edge of an electric vehicle revolution. Technological advances have made electric vehicles safer, higher performing and more affordable than ever before. Even traditional car manufacturers recognize this trend and are focusing on developing lines of electric vehicles to sell commercially. However, there still needs to be a radical shift in our infrastructure, policies and ideology to make the transition to electric vehicles and a zero-emission transportation sector a reality.

Come hear Dr. Tillemann's call to action for the politicians of Colorado as he makes the case for drastic change needed today to reach a zero-emission transportation sector by 2050.

He was the CEO of IRIS Engines, Inc., is author of The Great Race: The Global Quest for the Car of the Future, and is a fellow at New America. Levi also recently finished an appointment as an advisor to the Obama administration at the Department of Energy. He holds a BA from Yale, a PhD from Johns Hopkins and speaks Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese.
