What we're about
Detroit and its suburbs have a wonderful share of big and small lakes. Many of them have a public access, others are private but connected to other lakes and still can be accessed on the water. The beauty of shores seen from the water, of tiny islands and peninsulas, straights, bridges, canals, underwater life, and on the water activities, - is overwhelming. My biggest wish is to share this beauty with others. This is a non-competitive, slow-pace, beginner friendly, a "journey is the destination" type of water rides. And all you need is a board and a wish to paddle for 3-4 hours.
I'll try to set up some 10 journeys on different lakes within 30-50 minutes drive from Troy. Feel free to suggest a water route that meets the description above.
