PARK RULES :
ENTRANCE FEES: Entrance fees are in addition to Campsite or Day Use Facility fees. POTENTIAL COST SAVER: All State Parks charge a daily entrance fee in addition to facility & camping fees. Before you check in at the park, always ask if you can save by purchasing a Texas State Park Pass. With a pass, you and your guests will enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits. EXCESS VEHICLE FEES: An excess vehicle fee will be charged for all vehicles over the limit of 2 per site. CHECK IN: All campers are required to check in at the park headquarters before occupying a site. SITE NUMBERS: Sites are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Site numbers are not assigned in advance of arrival at the park. PETS: Pets must be attended and on a six-foot leash at all times. Pets are not allowed in any park buildings, cabins, or shelters. Customer must provide proof of current vaccinations for each pet entering the park. HORSES: For Parks that allow horses - All horses entering the park, must have a negative Coggins test less than 12 months old. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Public consumption or display of an alcoholic beverage is prohibited. FIREWOOD: Gathering of firewood is prohibited. WILDLIFE: Feeding of wildlife is prohibited.
PARK INFORMATION :
Entrance fee: $7 per day, per person 13 and older for Day use, $5 per day, per person 13 and older for Overnight Use. $4 per day, per person Texas residents 65 on 9/1/95 or after. Main gate open 6am-10pm Mon-Sun. Combination will be provided to all registered campers & those paying after hours activity fees. If you arrive later than 10pm, you must call the office by 5pm on the day of arrival to obtain gate code. 2 Night Minimum REQUIRED for ALL campsites on Holiday Weekends. 2012: Apr. 6-8, May 27-30, Jul. 1-4, & Aug 31-Sep 2 2013: Mar. 29-31, May 24-27, July 4-7, Aug 30-Sep 2 When reserving 5 or more sites, advise customers to call the park to arrange sites as close together as possible. 14 day limit may be waived at park. Campers must change loops every 14 days. Cedar Hill has Water and Electricity Sites and Premium Water Electricity 30/50 amp Sewer Sites. Boat & personal watercraft rentals are available, as well as courtesy boat slips. To confirm your rentals or speak to the Marina, call the store @ 972-299-9010, 8am - 8pm. 1 and 2 person kayak rentals are seasonal from March through October.
