Svaroopa® Yoga is a deep and meditative style of yoga that uses props and precise alignments to reach deep into the core muscles around the spine to relieve tensions in the body. Svaroopa® Yoga promotes healing and transformation and is a consciousness-oriented style of yoga. Group classes and individual yoga therapy sessions are excellent for relieving back, neck, knee and shoulder pain. The guided awareness done at the beginning and end of every class provides a deep relaxation and reduces the stress that many of us experience in our daily lives. Svaroopa® says that it all begins at the tailbone, therefore in every class you will experience release of deep spinal muscles from the tailbone to the rib cage, leaving you feeling incredibly refreshed and relaxed after every class.

Carol began teacher training with Swami Nirmalanada (formerly Rama Birch) at Master Yoga Foundation. She became a Certified Svaroopa ® Yoga teacher at the 500 hour level in 2004 and has been teaching at studios in the metro west area for over 10 years. Carol continued into Advanced Teacher Training and is a Certified Svaroopa ® Gentle Teacher, Deeper Teacher and Certified Svaroopa ® Yoga Therapist.
