This group was created from a small group of MetroWest Motorcycle Riders, but has grown to include the Greater Boston area, with rides departing from various locations.
Our main focus is to have safe, scenic, fun group rides and build camaraderie. You do not have to own a motorcycle to join, only have the desire to be part of a friendly group that has a passion for motorcycle riding.
Our rides vary from 10's to hundreds of miles, half-day to full-day trips, some have early kick-stands-up (KSU) time, other rides start later. The rides encompass many different road types and vistas. Some rides are planned and posted well in advance, and this group also serves as a great way to find riding companions for spontaneous and last-minute rides. Please feel free to use the Discussion Board to connect with other riders.
We hope you will join us.
Please post a recent portrait-type photograph of yourself so that we know what you look like and can identify you when you are meeting up for a group ride.
The Jaffrey Fireworks Festival is never one to miss. Atlas Pyrotechnics puts on a fantastic distplay of fireworks themed to music. This year's theme is "Woodstock Legends". The ride will leave from Norfolk, and will be a "one way" ride up back roads, side roads. The reason for this is when we leave, it's impossible to stay together in the dark during the mass exit of motorcycles. Bring a towel, a fold up chair, food, bug spray, etc and enjoy the show. I strongly suggest if you are going, to purchase tickets ahead of time by visiting: http://jaffreyfireworks.com/ . I will have printed directions for the ride home for everyone, although usually everyone just acts like lemmings and follows each other towards the nearest major route/ highway.
