If you view the landscape of parenting outlets there appears to be a void of resources, social groups or services directed addressing the needs and anxieties of being a dad. The Miami Beach Dads group seeks to be a diverse community of fathers that take an active role in their children’s life. Our aim is to create and promote an online meetup group to highlight the joys, failures and challenges of fatherhood while celebrating the experience. We created an online forum to bring fathers together in person. We welcome all types of dads from all walks of life. We welcome Stay At Home Dads, Recently relocated Dads, Dads with flexible schedules, work from home dads, freelance dads, working dads, and involved fathers in and around the Miami Beach area to socialize and interact with other guys who enjoy spending quality time with their children. Our community through a collection of workshops and nights out events help bring our members opportunities to socialize, learn, and support each other through the journey of parenthood. We will meet with our kids, at parks, playgrounds, museums, invite guest speakers, attend teach ins or parent-and-me classes. Some of us will host children in their homes across the Miami Beach area.

** Please note that this group is for dads. It is not meant to disparage the mother’s role. I understand that sometimes wives or baby raising partners, will try to sign up significant others but we encourage them to join on their own accord. We want this group to be a comfortable place for Dads to learn and talk about anything that is dad related.
