For years now, liberal politicians have been pushing for universal healthcare in the United States, claiming that healthcare in this country is obscenely expensive. Conservatives are adamantly against any kind of socialized medicine, claiming that it will stifle innovation if implemented. So, how helpful or harmful would universal healthcare be to the American people? Does the quality of healthcare in the U.S. justify the cost, and why is it so expensive in the first place? How much better, if at all, is medicine in the U.S. compared to other countries? Is the Affordable Care Act a good compromise between the proponents and critics of universal healthcare? This and more will be discussed. Come join us!
