Our Thursday games are for players of all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced. Games are organized, played in a good location with great equipment, and, most importantly, played in a fun, friendly, non-judgmental environment with just the right amount of competitiveness.
HOW TO RSVP (please follow the steps below):
Step 1 - RSVP to the 'Waiting' list.
Step 2 - Send a $11.00 payment to Paypal account, [masked], selecting option “Send money to friends and family”.
Step 3 - Once payment confirmation has been received, we will, within no more than 24 hours, update your status, moving you from the 'Waiting' list to the 'Going' list.
Note: the $11.00 fee is used to pay for Meetup fees, PayPal fees, cones, soccer balls, and time spent by the organizer(s) making these great games happen. It is also a commitment that you will actually show up to play!
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
A positive attitude; pair of sneakers, turf shoes, or cleats; shin guards (recommended); and lots of water.
RULES OF THE GAME:
The first, and most important, rule of the game is to have fun and enjoy your time on the field!
Rough play and offensive language are not tolerated. In plain words: no slide tackles, no pushing, and no telling off.
Power shots are not allowed. You can, of course, shoot the ball. However, we ask that you not shoot the ball so hard that it threatens to either decapitate your fellow players or catch fire while in the air like a meteorite crashing to earth.
If you don't sign up for the game, don't show up.
If you are running late to the game, let us know. This is a courtesy to those who made arrangements to get to the field on time.
Check our Meetup message board on Sunday morning to see what team you are on. This will help save us time on the field.
Individuals who do not comply with these rules will be asked to leave the field so that others can enjoy the game.
Any questions regarding the rules of the game or any other issues should be directed to the organizer(s).
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
