A free 30-minute mindfulness meditation. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself; we have mats, cushions and blankets if you'd like to use them.
Session is led by Adriana Moreno-Zarate, a highly experienced teacher of yoga, meditation and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). We will experience both formal and informal mindfulness practices, which includes breathing or body scan meditation.
Meditation is open to the community. You do not have to be affiliated with UM to attend. Come early to allow an extra few minutes to show your ID and pass through the front desk.
(Note: Immediately prior to this meditation is yoga class, also taught by Adriana. If you are a UM Wellness Center Member, you are welcome to join us.)
