WOOWEE!!!
It looks like a nice turn out for our Third Annual Summerfest BBQ!!!
And we are having a full day of having fun with friends and a BBQ.

We have a lot of things to do
(although you don't have do anything if you choose)
You can go biking, kayaking, canoeing or swimming at any time you choose

There will also be a watermelon contest with a $$$ prize

Kayaks and bikes can be rented at the park from the Blue Moon Outdoor Center.
I called to confirm and they will be open Saturday
The following are rental rates

Rates based on 1st HOUR AND HALF, 2 HOUR, 3 HOUR

1 person kayak- $22, $28, $40
2 person kayak -$32, $38, $50
Bikes- $24, $30, $35

TO COVER ALL THE RENTALS (except kayak and bike rentals above) - LARGE PAVILION, VOLLEYBALL NET/BALL, GOODIES, ETC., REMEMBER IT IS $5.00 PER MEMBER (YOUR GUEST(S) ARE FREE)

Our Pavilion is PANTHER, ACROSS FROM LOT #6 and there is a park entrance fee of $4.00 (Single occupant)or $ 6.00 (two or more occupants) per car to enter the park (so if you can carpool do so)

ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED INSIDE THE PARK. HAVING SAID THAT SO BE DISCREET RED CUP RULE

Bring your bathing suits, swim trunks, towels, beach chairs, picnic blankets or whatever you would bring to a picnic there are lots of shady trees and tables

Don’t be alarmed by the purple flag in regards to the beach I was told they fly it all the time as a precautionary measure but there has been no problems all summer

Last but not least EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES SOMETHING
Its potluck style so don’t be a total d*mb*ss--and show up empty handed. Even the worst cook can grab something pre-made at the grocery store. This really only applies to a handful of people (yes we know who you are and we are watching) so don’t be inconsiderate to those who do contribute because if you do show up empty handed, YOU WILL be called out by Italian Dave. Believe me, you DO NOT want to be called out by Italian Dave in front of everyone. If you haven't yet decided on what to bring, please take a look at what others have stated and bring something that was missed like buns, condiments, desserts for starters.

Also, if your plans have changed please update your RSVP so we can get an accurate count
