What we're about

“You do not need to fly to the other side of the planet to find wilderness and beauty.” - Alastair Humphreys.

What is a Microadventure?

A microadventure is an adventure that is close to home, cheap, simple, short, and yet very effective. The microadventures movement (started by British adventurer Alastair Humphreys), is based on the idea that you can find adventure everywhere. You do not need to be an elite athlete, expertly trained, or rich to have an adventure.

What is this group for?

This is a group for people in Hong Kong who are interested in taking part in microadventures. We can share ideas on the best places to go, organise trips, share tips and tricks and discuss the best equipment to bring (usually just a bivvy, sleeping bag and a map).

What next?

Grab a friend and go for a microadventure, or check out our events page and join a group.

Be sure to join our Microadventures Hong Kong Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1004992272855753/) too, to keep track of updates and to find other adventurers.
