Re-invent your business model – a new approach to designing business models

The trends towards business model-driven strategy are encouraging. According to the Economist, over 50 percent of executives believe that business model innovation will be even more important than product or service innovation.

Our hands-on and interactive presentation, will describe how the entrepreneurial journey has to focus on business models rather than business plans. For executives and entrepreneurs , a common visual language is required for business models to harness meaningful discussion.

We will demonstrate how a visual language whereby anybody who could understand a business problem could properly produce the solution

We will demonstrate the use of this 'visual language' through the Business Model Canvas concept; a practical method to design, test and build innovative business models. This entrepreneurial tool visualizes, challenges and re-invents business models and is used by global companies and organizations.
The audience will be encouraged to use the tool to map out business models such as Nestle products and Solar Energy concepts. We will introduce the idea that different business models being required in different contexts. Companies such as Amazon and Apple keep innovating and building several business models even when they are successful.

We will conclude in summarizing why innovative business models can unlock potential which traditional business plans and models cannot reach
