Pohick Bay Regional Park! An Easy-Side-of-Moderate 4- to 6-Mile Hike

This hike features upland woods and views of Pohick Bay. Our hike plan is a circuit which makes use of portions of the hiking and bridle paths mostly in the park's extensive undeveloped areas. The first ⅔ of the trek follows an old 30-station nature trail, for which there is no explanatory brochure longer available. (It is on Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group's list of things to do for our charity to remedy this for the park so everyone can once again enjoy having the information - if interested.) The park also offers boat rentals; guided canoe trips around the Bay and other facilities.
