It's easy... You bring a prepared dish for 7-8 people (you do not need to split it up in advance). Ideally, it would be best to bring a dish that can be frozen, but if not that is ok too. When everyone arrives we eat a meal together (sometimes one will be prepared and other times we will just eat from our portions that are divided up for us!). We divide everyone's dishes evenly amongst those who come. It's a great way to save money and have a variety of food for the week.
