This is our monthly board meeting/discussion group.

This is our meeting where we will elect members to be on our Board of Directors and for the offices of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of Mid Ohio Atheists Inc. for 2015. This year's elections are more important than ever. Now that we are officially recognized as 501(c)3 charitable organization, these officers and board members are who makes sure the organization is running as it is supposed be under the laws and guidelines of the federal government.

We ask that all voting members attend this meeting for cast their vote.

The members nominated at the November Board Meeting who will be on the ballot are-

Three positions for directors-
Ray Greenbank
Marisa Hills
Bradley Boothe

For Officers, these members were nominated-
President – Ron Stephens
Vice-President – Marisa Hills
Secretary – Candice Boothe
Treasurer – Ron Stephens

We will also cover any other business for the group as usual in this meeting.

We will also be showing a film for everyone. The film, The Lord Is Not On Trial Here Today, is a Peabody and Emmy Award-winning documentary that tells the compelling personal story of the late Vashti McCollum, and how her efforts to protect her ten year-old son led to one of the most important and landmark First Amendment cases in U.S. Supreme Court history - the case that established the separation of church and state in public schools.

We also encourage members to bring their aluminum cans to the event to donate to recycle. All proceeds are donated to MOA general fund for future events and projects or contribute to the group. Donations are tax deductible (as allowed by law) and help to fund future events, projects, and other endeavors.

** Please bring a canned or nonperishable food item to the meeting. These will be donated to the local homeless shelter or bring items to donate to the local Humane Society.
