Have a good day - Meditate!  Please let us know when you are coming on a Sunday. You will find it reasonable and doable - you can sit in a chair or on a cushion, we alternate meditating and walking, and you can leave early.  Please come first and THEN join the group.  We have a group limit of 50, so only people who have come  at least once may join this group. 

We practice in the tradition of Shambhala Buddhism, and we are a satellite of the Providence Shambhala Center. Shambhala is Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The much-loved Pema Chodrun is a Shambhala Buddhist. We meet most Sundays 10:30-12 noon, and we offer instruction in the beginning. Then we do sitting meditation and walking meditation. The group is coordinated by Mona Barbera, who is a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, a Shambhala Guide, and a Shambhala Assistant Director. Our meetings are free and welcome to all, and we do ask for a voluntary $1.00 donation to cover materials and meetup dues.

 If you sign up before you come unfortunately we will have to unjoin you - but please come and then join again. Please think of un-joining as a friendly reminder to come and meditate and then join!
