It's Friday Morning and an awesome time to make new friends while getting the mind, body and spirit moving. Please join us on an awesome morning walk through the natural parkland in and around Belmar Park. This will be a community wellness walk at a conversational pace with an emphasis on easy movement and pleasant company!
Walk Description: We will meet in front of the Belmar Library. As we head out we will turn into Belmar Park. Belmar Park is near the heart of Lakewood, CO by the Belmar Commons and Kountze Lake. The 127 acre natural parkland of Belmar Park wraps around Lakewood Heritage Center and the 20th Century Museum and offers walking paths and access toe Weir Gulch. This park is left in a self maintaining natural state with prairie grasses, cattails, purple thistle and willows. We will walk different pahts. All walks end in front of the Belmar Library.
Walking movement leader: Teri Sewell Huff, is a certiifed integrative nutrition health coach who loves to walk, travel and dance salsa.

Parking: There is plenty of parking in the library's parking lot.
Dog Friendly: We will be doing a loop going back to our starting location. Please be sure you are confident your dog can handle 2-3 miles and cooler temps when walking in various seasons and insure that your dog is calm, well behaved and MUST stay leashed. There are baggies at the park. They also must be trained socially with people and other dogs.
