Guest Speaker: Mr. Zulki Khan. Founder of Human Empowerment and Welfare Trust (HEWT). Program: Mr. Zulki Khan will make an audio-visual presentation of HEWT which provides interest free micro credit loans to the poorest of the poor in different parts of Pakistan so they can start very small businesses. Most of the beneficiaries are women and the loan amounts are Rs. 25000 - Rs.100,000 which can either be used to start a small business or expand an existing business.
Mr. Khan's presentation is expected to take 30-35 minutes after which there will be a Q/A session. Time permitting, we will have an open session at the end. Audience members will be invited to present any item of their choice e.g, a poem recitation, a song, any interesting life experience etc. Mr. Zulki Khan is the founder and president of Nexlogic Technologies Inc, San Jose, CA. Prior to starting Nexlogic, he was general manager for Imagineering Inc. IL. He holds an M.B.A. degree from University of Iowa. Mr. Khan is a frequent author of contributed articles to EMS industry publications. He has published over 50 white papers and articles in the Electronics press world wide. This program is open to all. There is no charge. Please come with you family and friends, make ne friends and have an enjoyable and educational afternoon.
