The DevOps Landscape: Tools, Tips and Starting Points

This session is presented in partnership with the DevOps Milwaukee Meetup.

DevOps is on everyone's radar lately, with some companies looking to improve their capabilities and others starting from scratch.  But what does that mean, and what are the options?

This session will be divided into two sections: presentation and breakout discussions.

The presentation will provide an overview of DevOps, the key tools and techniques in the space, some of the latest advancements, and how you can move your company forward - even without a full scale DevOps initiative.

Next, choose your breakout session:

- CI/CD

- Docker

- Scripted Infrastructure

- Unit testing (especially JavaScript unit testing)

- DevOps culture

Had someone ask me if the meetup was in a retirement community. Ha! It's at the corporate headquarters of Brookdale Senior Living, where their IT staff works. Park in the visitor lot on the east side of the entrance, and come to the conference room just past the restaurant. This is the same place we held the last meetup, when Modis hosted.

Want to see a different breakout discussion? Let me know. We can be agile like that.
