Sitecore Solutions to Common Content Problems

Struggling with old, outdated or irrelevant content is a problem that affects most legacy websites. Content strategy can provide you with best practices, but how do you execute these strategies within Sitecore?

Developers and Content Strategists from Laughlin Constable will be on hand to talk through common content problems that affect website performance and Google rankings, and discuss solutions within Sitecore that can efficiently publish, maintain and archive website content.

About our speakers:

Valerie Runde is a content strategist with Laughlin Constable in Milwaukee. She specializes in helping companies plan for the creation, delivery and governance of useful, useable website content. She works in both front- and back-end content strategy, appreciating taxonomies and metadata as much as editorial voice and tone.

Valerie is passionate about content and helping clients through their most complicated website challenges. She has over 15 years of experience in marketing and digital, and brings a wide range of expertise to her work as a content strategist.

Samrat Saha (Sam), a technology enthusiast, leads the development efforts at Laughlin Constable in Milwaukee, managing talented .NET, Open Source and Front-end dev teams. He works with both custom software and hardware and especially enjoys the zone where the distinction between the two blur and only user experience matters. Being a polyglot, he enjoys multiple platforms and languages (.NET, Java, Mobile, Python).

Be it custom BLE development for ad-hoc networked devices, to using NLP to create speech based UI's to leverage the Watson platform, he likes to get his hands dirty and often spends countless hours alternating between pure frustration and unadulterated joy when something finally works.

Rene Guzman brings over 18 years of Systems Architecture experience, now as a VP, leveraging hard-earned lessons and skills to deliver high-quality solutions for Fortune 500 clients. In his new position he has led and mentored the CMS Practice team at LC to consistently deliver top notch systems, including complex legacy integrations, native, web based and CMS ones. Rene is no stranger to converting difficult content into a communicable structure. Fluent in five languages, he has the exceptional ability to effortlessly translate both written word and technical code, contributing to his accreditation as a Certified Kentico Developer and Certified Sitecore Developer as well as Microsoft’s MCSE and MCSD. His expertise has played a significant role in successful solution deliveries for clients such as CMFG, Northwestern Medicine, MillerCoors, and Bemis.
