How familiar are you with drumming (starting, advancing, pretty good)?

I've been playing now for about twelve years. I also teach private lessons. I teach the djembe and the dununs for beginner and intermediate level students. If you are interested in taking lessons, please feel free to contact me!

Do you have a drum to play that works well for you?

Oh, yes - quite a few, actually!

What type of drumming do you like to do? (Djembe, traditional African, Native American, shamanic, bonfire, Middle Eastern, etc.)?

I primarily play the djembe and the dununs (drums of African origin), but I like to try different types of drums.

Have you ever taken drum lessons & are you interested in lessons and workshops?

I've been in lessons and had many different teachers since I started drumming - there's always more to learn!

Have you ever attended a kirtan event, and if so, how did you become interested in kirtan?

Oh, yes - of course! I became interested when I attended a day-long "rhythm/sound" event that included both drumming and kirtan.

Introduction

I love to drum, and I love the magic and power of drum circles and kirtan!
