IMPROV DAY with Milwaukee Filmmakers & Screenwriters Meetup Group

Our group has been asked to join the scheduled event above from the Milwaukee Filmmakers & Screenwriters Meetup Group. This looks like a fun time to see how a production works. Get the chance to work on a video production, or even act in one! You get to meet people who work in the business, or hone your craft if this is what you do. Or, just come to watch, network, and have fun. (did we mention that there is a biergarten in the park)

Their Description:

We are scheduling a meetup to engage all of you who are interested in writing, filming, editing and acting in a single activity.

The day will start with assigning teams of a writer, a cinematographer, actors and an editor. The writer will also act as the director. Once the groups are decided, the writers will provide a short script based on a sentence they are given in advance of the meeting (24 hours). The actors will be given time to rehearse (ad-libing is allowed) and filming will begin. The groups can do as many combinations of shots, versions, etc they want. Finally the editors will go to work and put it all together. (they will have 2 weeks to do so). At the end of the editing time, we will have a screening of all the projects.

Please RSVP so that we know what we are going to be working with. Invite friends that you know who are also interested in a day of fun doing what we love.

"(alibing is allowed)" I read that as meaning you will provide an alibi if necessary.
