Please join us for the April Vegan Meetup at BelAir Cantina on Milwaukee's east side. Whether you are a long-time vegan who wants to try a new place or a new vegan, curious, or just willing to try, you will not want to miss this awesome dining experience.
Kim Fisher-Isaacs says... BelAir Cantina owners Leslie Montemurro and Scott Johnson are no strangers to the restaurant business—among their other local establishments are Balzac, Hi Hat, Fuel Café, Comet Café, Palomino and Honeypie. But this is their first venture into the Mexican genre, located in the former Good Life space and quickly becoming a favorite in the vegan community. Locals expect gratis chips and salsa. At BelAir Cantina, you get not one, but three salsas. Tacos and tostadas form the heart of the menu. The tortillas (the smaller size that you will find at any decent taqueria) are doubled up. The various fillings can also be ordered in burritos or bowls with vegan options available.
You may view their menu at http://belaircantina.com/BelAirMenu.pdf
Please note that there is a cap of 30 people for this event. If it fills up, the wait list will activate. ;)
The spirit of vegan meetup is to promote and support a plant-based, cruelty free lifestyle and we therefore request that attendees choose only vegan options at our shared meals.
Please remember to RSVP by Friday, April 1st, and arrive by 12noon on the day of to guarantee a seat.
In addition, especially given that space is tight for this one... PLEASE remember to change your RSVP as your plans change. We'd like to know if we should be waiting on you or if we can go ahead and order! ;)
