Milwaukee Small Breed Dog Xmas Event Parade

  • Nov 17, 2012 · 7:45 AM

This is being posted as common courtesy to our sister meetup: WI Pugs Play Group - Wag More, Bark Less and Rick Kopaczewski (Kentuckian Pug Rescue) We have in the past team up with them at various events and parades.

Posted Flyer:
Milwaukee Pug Fest invites you and your Pugs to participate in this year Milwaukee holiday parade event.

Saturday, November 17, 2012

This is Milwaukee Pug Fest 4th year in this guaranteed fun event!

Having the pugs in this parade always bring a smile or two to all the spectators and it does help to raise awareness and money for Milwaukee Pug Fest who raises money for all pug rescue groups in need throughout the United States.

Please feel free to dress up ourselves and your pugs in your best holiday fashions! In previous years, the pugs and their parents have dressed up as Santa, Reindeer, Elves and other holiday characters.

The parade route is about 1 mile long, you may also bring wagons and or stroller if you think your Pug might get tired. Please do dress for the weather for the day. Also there will be volunteers along the parade route from Johnson Controls who will be collecting non-perishable food items for people as well as their best animal companions.

If attending, please email Diane and Joe at [masked] with the number of guest and Pugs that will attend.

All Pug Fest walkers with their Pugs will meet on Wells street between Cass and Marshall. Everybody will need to be in place by 8:15 a.m. to take our place in the parade lineup. Diane and Joe will be there to help guide everybody on where they need to be and anything that needs to be done for the parade. You do not need to check in with the parade marshals that will be already done.

Looking forward to meeting everybody with their Pugs and having a good time.

About a week before the parade we will send out a Parking Pass for you to display in your car windshield along with the Parade route.
