Fun was had by all! Bay View Bark is spacious and has a great outdoor area as well that leads to the river behind.

Spider and Brandy enjoyed playing this afternoon. It was a great playdate.

  • Pollock, with Lori & V.

Pollock loves getting together with dogs in indoor facilities. He would just sit (lay) and observe if we didn't keep walking around with him, though. This was the first time at an event for his little sister Parker and we were really surprised at her apprehension, as she adores running around at the outdoor parks and gets very excited when seeing dogs her size. She is fascinated by the big dogs at the park, but runs if they come to meet her, so we thought this would be great for her. Guess it'll take a few more visits until she acclimates herself. (She's the dog hiding by her "grandpa" in the lower left corner of this picture while big brother Pollock is laying by that red tunnel.) Both dogs LOVED walking outside, around back by the river.

It was fun to get to meet people yesterday and meet so many of the dogs as well! While I cringe at myself in this photo (I should have asked Beth to get in really close to Luna and Nicky's faces instead of the full body shot) I'm glad we get to see little Parker and her "grandpa" in the background! Nicky didn't play with anybody yesterday, that I noticed, though he did a little exploring. He's a playing fool at home. I think it can take some adjusting for dogs in a new setting like this. As for Nicky, I realized after watching him yesterday withall the different dogs, that even though he's a great foster brother, all the dogs he comes in contact with are hairy drop-eared dogs. He did so much barking at the prick-eared dogs. Embarrassing when your dog (that you think is fairly social) is bossy with other dogs! I want to check out the area outside near the river next time. It sounds really nice.
