The Mood Masters Meetup was created to share information, inspiration, and practical tools pertaining to mood support. The group is a place to support and be supported by others, to learn, and grow together. As such, the goals for this group are twofold:
1. To build a supportive community and reduce isolation.
2. To promote a holistic approach to well-being, which includes things like sleep, balance, exercise, healthy eating, humor, love, creativity, self-direction, self discovery/exploration, emotional awareness, mindfulness, etc.
This will be done through a combination of informal get-togethers, free monthly support groups, educational sessions, CBT and mindfulness groups. There is no fee to join.
This group is for adults (18+)who wants to be proactive about their mood, whether this means better stress management skills, or coping with a more serious condition. The content of the events will be adjusted according to the needs of the group, and to get the most out of this group it is therefore imperative that you voice your needs to the organizers. This group is also for those who want to better support others.
The group is not meant for those who want to sell their products or services to the group members. If you would like to share something you think the group could benefit from, please contact the organizers. We will review your request with the group members before making a decision.
