What we're about

Dear potential members,

This group is for people who currently practice Buddhist or mindfulness-based stress reduction, and who would like to hike and socialize in beautiful natural settings with other like-minded folks. Hikes will be of varying length and difficulty, with a somewhat leisurely pace, allowing time to appreciate nature. Length of hikes will normally be between three to six miles, with duration of two to four hours. We will sometimes walk in silence for a period. Also, we will sometimes stop for a snack along the way, if there is a good spot to sit.

Folks are encouraged to bring a poem or other short reading to share with the group, if they feel so moved.
