Mindful Meetup is meant to create safe spaces where food, conversation, discussions and other activities can be shared and enjoyed.
When we hold a Meet & Eat, we typically follow Mindful Eating guidelines detailed in a little gem of a book by Britta GreenViolet, an instructor, teacher and coach at Yoga Soup. Mindful eating involves: P - Peaceful attitude and setting E - Environment that is friendly A - Awareness of eating activity C - Conversation that is pleasant E - Enjoyment of the whole event
The intention of this group is to hold regular meet ups at local restaurants where we can chat and engage in Mindful Eating among a group of open minded people.
