Mindfulness meditation has been shown to support wellbeing by alleviating symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression (just to name a few!) By intentionally cultivating present-moment awareness we are able to change how we relate to our experiences, transform habits, and actually alter brain structures associated with stress!
This free introductory drop-in class is open to anyone and everyone, so feel free to dip your toe in and try it out!
We will be meeting for 30 minutes to learn how to meditate, take a pause, and stay connected.
Classes consist of:
20 minute guided sitting meditation
10 minute chat about the meditation
If you don't feel like speaking that's a-okay -- feel free to take off after the meditation or listen mindfully to the others.
This is a pressure-free zone. Don't want to be seen? Totally cool, feel free to leave your camera off. Don't want to be heard? No problem, mute your mic.
