What we're about
Happy New Year! Would you or any friends be interested in....warm welcome to the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course at the Humanist Hub?
Here's an overview of logistics for the course: Class starts this tomorrow, Weds. Jan 3rd at the Humanist Hub (30 JFK St, Cambridge) and runs from 6:15 - 8:45 PM. We meet at this same time every Wednesday for eight weeks, ending with the last class on Feb. 21. Our day-long retreat is Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10 AM - 5:30 PM. To get the most benefit out of the MBSR course, it is ideal to attend every session fully. If you know you have to miss any classes, please tell me as early as possible.
Some notes about getting to the location:
The Humanist Hub is one block away from the Harvard Square Red Line station. The Humanist Hub is on the 4th floor of 30 JFK St, above "Lush," the soap store.
Once you enter the building, you can take the elevator up to the fourth floor, and the door opens into the space. Here are some leads for parking within 2 blocks of the venue. Some notes on the space and what to bring: Please arrive 5 -10 minutes early to have a few minutes to settle in before we start promptly at 6:15. The temperature of the space is not under my control, so please bring layers if you know you are temperature sensitive. The course takes place during many folks normal dinner times, and I apologize for that. I recommend you eat dinner before the course, ideally something not to heavy. I will be at the space an hour early every week if you ever want to show up early to eat. There is a microwave and fridge in the space. You may like to bring a water bottle to each class if you want to stay hydrated. Thanks so much for reading. I'm happy to take this journey with you and look forward to meeting you in person. :)
