We are an existing but small group of practitioners new to meetup . We welcome new members, or visits by people who are just curious about mindfulness, Thich Naht Hanh, or meditation in general.
Each week we do about an hour of formal sitting meditation with a brief period of walking meditation in between, and then a reading from Thich Nhat Hanh followed by dharma sharing.
Occasionally, we conduct recitations of mindfulness trainings.
The sitting meditation begins at 6:30, so please come early, at 6:15, so as not to disturb others (and for newcomers, a brief orientation).
