Mindfulness Meditation Buddy Meetup:
Do you want to have a good night’s sleep?
Do you want to be less stressed at work?
Do you want to have better focus?
Do you want to have harmonious relationships?
Do you want to be more creative?
Do you want to achieve calm and peace in your mind?
Medical science has evidences that mindfulness meditation can help with all of the above.
However, starting a meditation practice can be challenging. There needs to be a commitment by oneself to practice everyday. A busy life can make it difficult to maintain consistency in the meditation practice. With a variety of different meditation practices to choose from, it can also be hard to know which one is right for you.
This Mindfulness MeditationBuddy Meetup is here to help.
Each Sunday, we will do a 15 minute discussion with a buddy, 30 minutes of group meditation, and 15 minutes of reflection.
A buddy will work with you for 8 weeks. During this 8 week meetup, we will do the following:
1st week: we will buddy up to figure out a consistent time in your day to practice, learn the basics of meditation, and make a commitment to practice for 8 weeks.
2nd - 8th week: we will teach various practices and solve issues coming up in your daily practices. More importantly, we will help you keep your commitment to finishing the 8 week session.
At the end of 8 weeks, you can decide
to continue on your own
start another 8 week session with a buddy
or teach others as a buddy.
We believe that in 8 weeks, you will see the benefits of continuing mindfulness meditation.
