A Special Day of Retreat: Voice Dialogue, Led by Al Fusho Rapaport, Sensei
A Special Day of Retreat: Voice Dialogue Led by Al Fusho Rapport, Sensei of the Open Mind Zen Meditation Center in Melbourne, Florida - visiting Hong Kong and hosted by Transcend International Institute for Mindfulness-based Approaches (www.tiimba.com). Join us in discovering and identifying various parts of ourselves (voices) which may interfere or support success and happiness in our lives. Discover the “bigger mind” the voice of the “true” self, beyond emotions and reactivity, for clearer awareness and optimal decision-making in our busy lives. The Voice Dialogue method offers an opportunity that takes us outside the boundaries of the conditioned, reactive, self. You will learn skills to free yourself from living in fear, worry, stress, and emotional / mental discomfort. It is an essential tool that helps to heighten awareness and presence, manage reactivity, thereby enhancing performance and well-being both professionally and personally. Al Fusho Rapaport, Sensei has practiced and taught this method together with Zen and Kundalini Meditation for 40 years. He studied with Kozan Roshi, Maezumi Roshi, and Genpo Roshi and received Dharma Transmission within the Soto Zen Lineage from Shuzen Sensei in 2008. He is author of Open Mind Zen: A Guide to Meditation, and editor of Buddhism in America. Al currently serves as Director of Open Mind Zen Meditation Center in Melbourne, Florida. He is a member of the White Plum Asangha, the American Zen Teachers Association and the Lay Zen Teachers Association. A suggested donation of HK$650 for the Open Mind Zen organisation (Sensei Al) and to cover the venue rental will be collected at the event. A deposit of HKD 100 will be collected on registration. In case of hardship please contact us at [masked] .
