Please join us for a simple meditation practice, in the Plum Village (http://plumvillage.org/) tradition.
We sit for about 20 minutes (blankets and bolsters provided, or you can bring your own), about 10 minutes of quiet walking meditation, and then a brief check-in to see how everyone is doing. You are welcome to share (from your heart), or simply practice deep listening. Everyone is welcome, even if you have never meditated before!
This gathering is led by Nina & Bart, who have studied for many years with Thich Nhat Hanh. They have created a very light and accessible practice, focused on finding present moment awareness through the body & the breath.
There is a suggested donation of $5, part of which benefits the building of the Ingrid School (http://www.ingridangelschool.org/) in Matopeni, Kenya.
We practice in a Yoga studio called Patanjali's Place. It is located inside the Trotter Building, on the corner of W Geer Street & Foster Street. Heading north on Foster Street, you would pass the intersection with W Geer Street, and turn into the large parking lot (on the right) just after the smaller parking lot for Cocoa Cinnamon. The building will be on your right. There is a glass door with a sign above it for Patanjali's Place. After you enter, head to the left and then down the stairs to the lower level. Please call Bart at[masked] if you have trouble finding it.
