What we're about

This is a relaxed and friendly group for anyone interested in learning skills and techniques for managing stress and improving happiness and wellbeing. The sessions will use topics such as mindfulness, meditation, relaxation techniques, positive psychology and more, with full guidance and support given. There will opportunities to experience different exercises and techniques and time for discussion. Come along to learn new skills, brush up on existing skills, make new friends and generally feel better. Or why not try a yoga class with me? For me mindfulness and Yoga go hand in hand, so this is ideal for those who find it hard to sit still and meditate

The aim of the group is to help make to most of what we have, manage our stress levels, thoughts and emotions and weave these ideas into our already busy everyday lives to help us live as calmly and happily as possible. The sessions are friendly and relaxed, an opportunity to chat about our practice and share how we are feeling. I also email this group part way through the week to provide more support with meditating and bringing mindfulness into your life. Full support and guidance given, everyone welcome. We chat, drink herbal tea (provided) and meditate together. Payment in advance please as this helps me manage numbers and ensure I don't say yes to too many people - as this session is advertised elsewhere too! £8.50 per week.
