This workshop will help you dispel stress and prevent it from overpowering you. We discover how to change the way to respond to stress, dissolve stress when it does strike and build resilience to stressful events.
Whats included in all workshops:
There will be tips and general guidance on posture and timings to help maintain a sustainable practice. You will receive comprehensive handouts and home exercises to consolidate the training. Meditation is a simple and effective means of bringing some peace and space in our busy lives and can increase awareness, clarity of thought and energy for living life to the full. There is no religion or belief system to adopt and we sit in chairs with no strange positions. Self Discovery workshops are suitable for all levels of experience but you must be 18 years old or over. Light refreshments will be provided.
Student’s responsibility – Meditation is a safe and effective stress management tool. However, please seek advice from your GP if you have suffered or do suffer from epilepsy, severe depression, schizophrenia, severe anxiety, or psychosis or are on medication, or under supervision by the mental health team. Any contra-indications will need a letter from you GP for my consideration.
