The Ministry of Testing exists to advance the software testing industry in a fun, safe, professional and forward thinking way.
Our meetups exist as a way to bring people together to talk and learn about good and authentic testing. We encourage everyone who is interested in making better software products to come along and participate.
For our Spring meetup we will be changing up the schedule to meet over the lunch hour. Beren Van Daele and Joanna Moćko-Łazarewicz will be introducing us to TestSphere, a set of cards used to generate testing ideas, and run an interactive workshop with us.

Quality has become a team responsibility, but there rarely is a wholesome, actionable plan to achieve it. Different roles often do their own pieces of quality improvement activities and are done with it. RiskStorming breaks those patterns.
Quality is not a checklist. It’s a journey which begins and ends with the team. It’s a journey we’re all on together. So let’s figure out where we’re going, what the possible threats might be and who will take on which responsibilities.
By taking part in a RiskStormingOnline session, you’ll achieve a common understanding on how to deliver quality as a team and you'll learn how to run your own workshop of RiskStormingOnline.

Joanna & Beren met at several testing conferences Joanna organised and collaborated to organise ITMatters, a conference on Diversity and Inclusion. This endeavour hit a few bumps over the past year and we had to adjust. Joanna has an impressive track record as event manager and is now exploring roles as a Product Owner and Scrum Master. She's shaping the tool that is RiskStormingOnline as well as using her people skills and bubbly personality to support teams to effectively do RiskStorming as a workshop.
Beren has been in the testing field for almost 10 years now and has had deep experiences in many different types of project contexts. This journey helped him develop the TestSphere cards and the RiskStorming workshop with a strong belief that we, as an industry, can do much better and more efficiently.
Zoom conference links will be sent to members who have RSVP'd on the day of the event. Space is limited so please update your RSVP if you are unable to attend. The workshop will be 1 hour, but we will have extra time for questions and discussion for those who can stay longer.
As always, if you are interested in hosting or presenting a topic for a future meetup, please reach out to me here on Meetup or at [masked]. We are on twitter at https://twitter.com/MinistryTestTO
