This meetup is for anyone who is interested in speaking German with others in Minneapolis/St. Paul! Level of German does not matter, as this group is to practice speaking the language.

We enjoy trying out new places each week, so stay tuned to see where new meetups will be! Please note that it is common courtesy to at least order something small at the cafés/restaurants we visit. Unfortunately, some restaurants report poor experiences with meetup groups as they have had lots of visitors with no orders. Most meetups are limited to 10 or 15 people since we would not be able to check out the many locations we do if we had larger numbers. Please note that although it is perfectly ok to come late, the restaurants are generally more picky and can become frustrated if we hold a large number of seats with many arriving late. As a good rule of thumb, try to arrive on time for restaurants (at cafés and breweries, it really doesn’t matter so much if you come late). Suggestions for locations are welcome and are usually discussed with the group before being posted. In the meetups scheduled farther out, it defaults to Salut Bar Américain in St. Paul, so just know that those are subject to change.
