We are a branch of Kadampa Meditation Center Madison, and have received several requests for teachings in Minneapolis. This Meetup will help communicate Public Talks, and Classes, and Events for our Branch teachings in Minneapolis. This is a great way to meet like-minded people. Update: Currently, we are offering livestream classes open to all WI and MN residents. We have an optional online Gathering Space after our livestream classes on Sundays and Mondays. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other meditators who are at varying levels of practice. Feel very welcome to check us out as part of your online class experience!

Monday: First thing in the morning, 7-7:30 am, Meditations for a Clear Mind with Linda Zoesch

Wednesday: Midday, 12:15-12:45 pm, Meditation for Relaxation with Lowanna Mobley

Friday: After work, 6-6:30 pm, Meditations for a Kind Heart with Dave Ropa

While the meditations offered are Buddhist, they generally appeal to anyone wanting to cultivate a deeper state of peace and authentic happiness.

No previous experience is necessary. Just show up!

Moving Forward: Exploring the Future with Wisdom

Now more than ever, many of us are experiencing unsettled minds. This past year, especially, we have had an opportunity to become very aware of the impermanence of things, and the transition into a “new normal” can still feel uncertain and unpredictable.

Through learning to view and respond to things differently we can experience the transformative power of patience in general, and patient acceptance in particular– a vast and profound experience of calm that embraces challenges without being disturbed or harmed by them. It enables us to accept other people, ourself, our life but at the same time have the clarity to move forward.
