Confederate Flag: Symbol of Heritage or Hate? A Presentation by Todd Torkelson

Confederate Flag: Symbol of Heritage or Hate? A Presentation by Todd Torkelson

For some it symbolizes Southern heritage, culture and states' rights. Others see it as the American Swastika whose fallen shouldn't even share the same cemeteries with US soldiers. What does the Confederate flag really stand for? We will look at the history and sociology of the south followed by a group discussion exploring this sensitive issue. This is not a "preaching to the choir" subject. Join us!
(this is the largest size image I'm comfortable putting up)

Please Note: Todd does have a limited time schedule that evening so we will have to wrap things up by 7:45. The post-talk Q&A I'm guessing will be pretty lively - please take the time constraint into consideration.
