The largest free Blues Festival in the Twin Cities started in 2003 as "Famous Dave's BBQ and Blues Festival" in Peavey Plaza, Minneapolis, MN.
After several changes and re-construction of Peavey Plaza, the festival found itself without a home in 2012, and the next year was moved to it's present location in Lowertown Neighborhood of St. Paul in beautiful Mears Park.
The people involved with this festival take great pride in working year round to make this a premier event in the Twin Cities. This festival is supported entirely by our sponsors, vendors, contributors, and YOU. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
Weekday Happy Hour from 4-7. I am hoping for no rain so we can hangout on the patio!!
Dixie’s on Grand has been sharing the Southern tradition of serving authentic comfort food with warm and gracious hospitality to the Twin Cities for the past 30 years.
In the kitchen, our recipes come straight from cajun country with a menu designed by a Louisiana native. Many of the recipes have been handed down through generations and it’s classic menu favorites like our fried chicken and po’ boys that keep our guests coming back again and again.
We offer additional global dining at our Grand Avenue location and invite you to try Emmett’s Public House and Saji-Ya. We’re grateful to be locally owned and active members of the community and look forward to the next 30 years!
