Season 8 continues... Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage Level 2, Arcane Chambers This is a tier 2 adventure for characters level 5-10, APL 6. Treasures and secrets abound, but tread with care! In the city of Waterdeep rests a tavern called the Yawning Portal, named after the gaping pit in its common room. At the bottom of this crumbling shaft is a labyrinthine dungeon shunned by all but the most daring adventurers. Known as Undermountain, this dungeon is the domain of the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak. Long has the Mad Mage dwelt in these forlorn depths, seeding his lair with monsters, traps, and mysteries-to what end is a constant source of speculation and concern. DM: Dave Turner We’ll be playing the season 8 modules as they are released interspersed with Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Most are 2 hours plus. D&D Adventurer League Player’s pack and Content Catalog can be found here : https://www.dmsguild.com/product/208178/DD-Adventurers-League-Player--DM-Pack -------------------------------------------------------- Level Up Games Adventurers League Info: -------------------------------------------------------- Experienced Adventurers League players: Make sure you check out the updated D&D Adventure League Guide (http://dnd.wizards.com/playevents/players). The code of conduct does apply this season. We are currently running primarily Tier 1 and some Tier 2 tables. Bring a few characters with you so you'll have options. For storyline information, please see our Season Summaries (https://www.meetup.com/Minnesota-Adventurers-League-Meetup/pages/22735680/Season_Summaries/) page. RSVP Guidelines: • To ensure you have a spot please RSVP. Play at the table you RSVPd for. Don't switch tables unless the DMs or organizers OK it. • RSVPing or Wait-Listing for more than one table is not allowed! Players who break this rule will have their RSVP removed from all tables. • Running Late: If you are running late, post a message on your table's meetup. If you don't let the table/DM know you are running late, your seat will be given away at 6:15pm to Wait-Listed or Walk-In players, in that order. • No Shows: If you RSVP and don't show up for a game, you will be given one warning. If you no show again you will be barred from the games for a week and the DM can choose to exclude you permanently.
I will be running the Level 1-5 'Waterdeep Dragon Heist' hardcover adventure. I will be switching over to The Dungeon of the Mad Mage (Levels 5-20). For the next month or so I will have my table locked as Dragon Heist is very conducive to a consistent party. As such the events will be invite only. Bring a trusty pencil. It's relatively mobile friendly as well.
Adventurers League Season 8 content. We continue the new book, "Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage" by exploring the fourth level or "Twisted Caverns" which is Tier 2 content, optimized for 4 characters of 8th level.
