As is his will, the Flying Spaghetti Monster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster) kindly suggests that we honor his noodlyness each time there is a fifth Sunday in a month. This month is no different.
For the low minimum donation of $7 (kids under 12 eat free and donations over $7 are welcome, cash and checks only), you can stuff your face with quality spaghetti, salads, bread and dessert. Feel free to bring sauces to share, but we do request that you provide a crock pot to keep the sauce hot. You can also bring desserts, salads, pirate themed costumes, kids (especially if they are dressed as pirates) and beverages (non-alcoholic).
The event is being held at Lions Park in Roseville. There is a play field near by, as well as trails. This park is also littered with geocaches, for those who do that sort of thing. As with our other fundraisers, there is likely to be giveaways and prizes. For more information on the park, click here (http://www.ci.roseville.mn.us/index.aspx?NID=203).
This is a great event if you haven't met anyone from the group yet. We've had a blast with our picnics so far this year, and this one is one of our last, so make it count! Because of your participation in our fundraisers, we can do a better job of getting the word out about our great organization.
I hope to see you there!
