Across Faith Traditions, Within Our Own
Faith Tradition, and Inside Ourselves
A 5-week series of panel discussions with local religious leaders and table dialogue
among participants from different religious traditions on our theme: dealing with difference
related to race, gender, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, and religion.

SPIN’s Fall Dialogue Series 2009
• To witness and practice effective dialogue dealing with perceived difference across faith
traditions, within our own faith tradition and inside ourselves
• To understand the various ways groups and individuals deal with perceived difference and
the religious/textual basis for each (using examples of race, gender, sexual orientation,
socio-economic status and religion)
