MNA Meetup Discussion Board Policy on Political Messages

From: Jack C.
Sent on: Sunday, May 6, 2012 8:12 AM

To all Meetup members:

I recently removed a thread on our discussion board that called for a partisan political protest. Please remember that Minnesota Atheists is a non-partisan 501c3 organization that does not endorse or condemn any political party. Messages fostering a partisan political point of view will be deleted, and anyone who persists in attempting to advance a partisan political agenda (regardless of party) will have their membership in the Meetup terminated.

Our position is to oppose any action or legislation that does not have a secular purpose and therefore threatens the principle of separation of church and state.

Thank you,

Jack C.
