Bjorn,

That is great! I am looking forward to hearing more on this and will try to make the first meeting. I need to the get the book first. I was sorry I had to miss Dan's visit.

Nancy,

Thanks for your input.  Who knows, there may be a group of people west of the Cities who would be looking for a group.  Right now, it's looking like Saturday evening at 7 PM will be the night and time of the first meeting in Minneapolis, but there will also be a meeting in the southern metro, and who knows where else.  I'll be posting events on Meetup, so you can choose what works for you.

Thanks!

I would definitely be interested, Bjorn. But I live in Willmar. Evenings around 7PM during the week or weekends would work out best for me though I probably wouldn't be able to make them all even then. I work every other week and weekend until 5PM.

I've heard from a number of members that they would enjoy a Minnesota Atheists Book Club.  If you find yourself in that camp, please let me know which days of the week and times of day work best for you, and which areas are most convenient.  I'll be shooting for a first meeting in about a month to give people time to read the first book, "Godless," by Dan Barker.  The next book will be chosen by the group at the first meeting.  If there is enough interest, we may split the meeting up to a few days and locations.

Thanks!
